i have an iphone and very happy with it,
i know the ipads can now have the sim card in which will give me internet wherever i am, they look cool
but what else lol
OK for some reason i want one of these but what can i do with and why would it benefit me

Does it also allow me to use things like standard Video Files, as i have lots of my films backed up and take them away as test media with work etc so would need to be able to watch them whilst away....
I have both and the reason why I also choose to have an Ipad is simply because it has a larger screen, easier to send emails, watch movies and take it with you where ever you go instead of carrying your lappy with you Yes you can insert sim card in it but nowadays you can get free wi-fi everywhere.
the internet bit is a big thing for me as with my job im always online so need to be able to get net where ever i am so will need the sim card version
what about making calls via skype etc on it does it only work via WIFI or can i use the 3g network

16-04-2018, 12:04 AM #6your better to get a galaxy tab, i have one and there cheap now and do most things but you can use it for calls, put your bluetooth head set on and know one knows you have it but no headset then no worries as you can use it as a phone without one. just like using a speaker function on a normal phone
you can jailbreak them so you can skype/facetime over 3g if you do buy one of them.
As for Videos, you can get VLC player for iphone and ipad now and that plays allmost all video types

you can jailbreak them so you can skype/facetime over 3g if you do buy one of them.

ahh i hadnt thought about the tehering side of it hmmm not a big fan of jailbreaking for some reason but given my background i might have to consider it lol
Rabs do you know how to jailbreak? If not I can do it for you.
Mines jailbroken to do FT over 3G.
