Okay, I've got one coming over so now I need to work out what to fill it with...

I'm thinking of a couple of options:

1. Sony Nav/Bluetooth Unit- like this:

2.Generic 5'' Screen-Nav etc-like this:

Would be grateful for input, especialy from anyone who is running a similar set up?

Cheers,

J

I'd go with something tried and tested personally - like the Sony.

Also make sure that the aspect ratio of the screen you pick fits with the nav housing otherwise you could end up with something widescreen-like going in a squarish hole?

I'm sure Stav/others have a more elegant solution, but when I fitting the touchscreen to my one (which is now your one) I just used strong double sided tape and a hot glue gun.

Thats a good idea. I think I may have to rethink the double sided tape when my 7" housing arrives anyway as I dont think there's going to be much of a border to stick the screen to.

Also with the touchscreen being resistive it makes things a bit more difficult
