My uncles has failed the mot on a rotted exhaust and sometimes the car won't start, which is down to the lock barrel. He has looked everywhere for replacements and all he can find are new ones from the dealer. He has been quoted 900 quid for each item!! Looks like he's breaking the car now as he only paid a grand for it and wanted cheap motoring. Unless any of you know where to get parts from?

Surely any old exhaust place (longlife, powerflow etc) would be able to weld a new bit of pipe in? S'what I did when my exhaust rotted through!

Yea a lot of car but never designed to be a cheap car, you don't buy a Lexus to save money:lol: Thats what fords are for.
