Phil01 Gord has got a total hatred for black rims and nothing you say will make him change his mind.
I had recently picked up on that. I wasn't so much as trying to change his mind, as to understand it.

Gord Black wheels ........ well ever seen car transporter driving down the road with new cars on ? or car rolling of production like ? they don't have wheel trims fitted and you can see the black steel wheels.
So when i see black wheels on a car it reminds me of this, looks un-finished to me, also when your tyre is getting on a bit, its not black and makes the black wheel look odd.
Fair enough. A perfectly valid explanation. I have heard the "makes your tyres look less black" argument before, but the "unfinished" one is new to me. Though I'm sure not everyone feels the same way. As I said, I was considering it, but I'm not 100% sure.

Although this pic doesnt include the body kit it gives you the idea
plus it will be sitting a bit lower.....
