People with have differing opinions, but don't let that offend you. If everyone had the same opinions, then we'd all be driving the same car with the same mods! Carpediem may think your centre console "amatuer" but he did admire your dedication, and also, I believe, your balls? But he drives a Diesel, and it's only your opinion that really matters at the end of the day. Though I have to say, compared to other forums I have seen, this one is generally incredibly polite and courteous.
The forum is all about sharing ideas, opinions and knowledge. If you are doing your stereo, there are some great guides around, that you may have already seen. I have fitted big systems to many cars in the past, but none were so complicated, problematic or time consuming as the IS200! (Just getting the spacers right for the 6x9s so as to allow the boot mechanism to clear them took the best part of a day!) Plus, I'm about to do it all again in my 2nd one. Members are generally very quick to help if you come against any problems, and there are many on here with years experience working on this specific system, so if you have an queries, then just ask.
I see you are after an HKS HiPower Silent exhaust? Nice choice. I ran one for a while, and the sound of it is spooky quiet, whilst also giving good power gains. I am not currently using it, and I will soon decide if I will ever use it again or not, and then it might be up for sale.

2tongues IS200 is easy compared to the system I put in the Prius!!
2tongues The IS200 really really benefits from NO rear speakers if you have a sub, leave the holes open the bass improvement is so worth it. Try with and without rears, I know what you will go foriscoStu:

Thats what I had, and empty 6x9's it would move the wing mirrors.
Stoney if you decide to sell, let me know, I will prob be in the market for one in the next 6 weeks.
And has anyone upgraded their 6x9's and run them off an amp?
I do like bass, but at the same time I like what the set up sounds like now, just a little more bass and mid range and I will be satisfied.
Im also tempted to get some new tweeters aswel for a better quality top end.
Just not sure what amp to get, there are so many.
For fronts I really rate alpine type 's. 17cm. Run off something like a 100w rms JL amp. I have the prefect sub needing a new home in the for sale section. You can't go wrong with hyphonics amps for bass. If you insist on rears run the oem ones as rear fill only, you will not increase should quality to the driver with loud rears. The SPL and quality, is200's and BMW's all remove rears.
Appears constructive criticism isnt on the list of "Personality must haves" anymore
The fabric "in my opinion" looks rubbish, but its your car, if you like it, then wahey
The over-spray "in my opinion" looked amatuer, and you must of agreed because you said its now sorted.
You obviously didnt read my post properly either, as I clearly stated I dont have the balls to be ripping my dash apart and modding it,.....which would infer, surprisingly enough......that my cars interior is un-modded
I often wonder why I dont post much on car sites anymore, it seems when people post pictures of their work, actively expecting reviews/opinions/criticism, often lap up all the good post's and flame down the ones with the smallest hint of something they dont like.
