Hope someone can help I have got a kenwood amp and alpine sub now when the eninge is off it all works fine and dandy. But when the engine is started the sub starts thumping no music playing it just thumps on its own accord.
I have used a autoleads 750w power leads.
Now what I think I have done is earthed it out in the wrong place under one of the luggage strap loops.
Any ideas on a better earthing point please tell me
Thanks Pete

It could be a bad earth somewhere else causing the problem, once you're happy that the wiring to the amp and stereo are spot on, if the problem persists then check out the engine ground straps and the other big wires (alternator, battery etc).
