Yes indeed, Ive got a new clutch going in 2moro so the paint is taking a bit of a back step as the clutch is more important. Hope they do a good job, the guy said he has done 6 or 7 before so that gives me confidence.

Ok I'm going to be purchasing something for the car soon, next big thing as its going to be expensive. Thing is I am torn between what to get, either ARB's or Exhaust System. Wish I had the money to do both at the same time!! Just want to know what people would do first...

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake
generally i would start with 60 grit sandpaper and sand the holy hell out of them, get all the **** off and get it looking good like it has no chips etc
then move onto 200 grit to make it nice and smooth, then wet and dry to really flat it out
then just primer/paint/laquer, and use the wet n dry to flat the paint once laquered

in regards to the wheels, it depends how bad they need refurbing?
generally i would start with 60 grit sandpaper and sand the holy hell out of them, get all the **** off and get it looking good like it has no chips etc
then move onto 200 grit to make it nice and smooth, then wet and dry to really flat it out
then just primer/paint/laquer, and use the wet n dry to flat the paint once laquered

As for ARBs/Exhaust, I feel the ARBs would give more of an improvement to the general feel of driving the car. (Though a decent exhaust on that straight 6 does sound sweeeeeet.)

ad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. ad:I sanded back between each coat, and did 3 coats of primer, 4 of paint and 3 or lacquer. Though these were steels, not alloys. Took me about 4 months (not constantly!) luckily the car was off the road, and on axle stands on my drive!

Ive got my hands on some original Lexus mats, an armrest, fitted some led's runway style inside, some carbon wrapping inside and have starting working on my wheels, I currently have 7 so I will be getting rid of 2. I just need one more potenza.
I will be fitting a reverse camera, and thinking about fitting sat nav in the casing, although I dont fancy my chances with that.
I have a repair to do on the quater panel, and hopfully after that I will be getting a respray.

Jason (Demon) makes the clock covers, he might have a spare one left from the last group buy he did, worth a pm to him. The rings are much harder to find though...

Im thinking about wind deflectors, light smoke tint for the fronts and sunstrip.
Wheels halfways there just need to find another bridgestone tyre on the cheap.
