Thanks Mate, its looking like a complete mess at the moment but will be worth it in the end. Big Grin

Anyway, we went back yesterday, not too early as i didn't want to upset the neighbours too much. Work started at around 10am and we didn't leave till about 6:30pm and we have now almost filled the skip.

Mazda tucked up asleep in the garage, finally got to try out my car cover that came it..........

more mess........

Sarah working away hard..........

My bro working away..........

Sarah's bro working away, He was working away in one room and almost came through the wall..........

me looking back........

and my bro taking a break..........

taking a break to do some extreme gardening........

and then back to it, the little flecks in this picture are actually dust.............

started taking up parts of the floor, the wiring is so dodgy its unreal. Obviously it will be all getting replaced so not too worried Big Grin
[Image: 100_2211.jpg]

Almost now come to a stand still as we can't do much till the ceiling artex is checked for asbestos content. Hopefully have someone popping round this week coming to have a look and take a few samples Big Grin

Want to get the artex checked as the house was built in 1939. About the same time that asbestos was being put into EVERYTHING, artex, paint etc. I just want to be 100% certain that it doesn't contain any asbestos, looking in the loft the ceiling looks a bit suspect to say the least.

I have been on several asbestos courses and im fully aware of the risks with the stuff. Its got to be one of the worst ways to die. Its not worth taking the risk mate, plus the skip is full so needs changing anyway.

Thanks Mate.

Will do, was thinking today about having some sort of sound system running throughout the house. Sort of like a central hub and then speakers built into each room. Not sure what exactly?!?!?
