I love that they think the intake manifold is a PP one when it was remanufactured from a Nissan item :lol:

But it does depend on the way the engine is fitted along with the other parts that were added to the car

So John where you say they use the same gearbox
What did they do, just add a transfer box on?

Exactly. The GT4 'box has a big transfer box where the MR2 'box has the diff. It's so big in fact that it covers half the sump as well, making the front driveshafts equal length (on the MR2 one driveshaft is twice as long as the other), and eliminating any torque steering effects (which are minimal on 4WD anyway). It has a 3rd output to head to the rear wheels.

The gearbox has a transmission fluid cooler on it, on the MR2 this is just a metal loop like most modern cars power steering fluid coolers (jimxms had a thread about these recently). On the GT4 it is more like a mocal oil cooler, looks like a mini radiator. But they all use the same fittings and are interchangeable.
