Thought i would share with you guys my last project ( now sold ), always been a keen Celica enthusiast and have owned most of the models dating back to 1971.
The 2.8 Celica-Supra , I've had 3 over the years but it was the last one i had i spend time on like a man possessed, sort of burnt myself out doing it , so i have a bog standard Lexus IS300 just to cruse around in and needs no work.
A few photos of my work on the supra.....

All the underside work was done by hand with a scraper, wire brush and then hand painted.
Also stripped the engine down to block and pistons, then replaced what was needed, including , seals ,gaskets ,belts , hoses etc
The 2.8 Supra is now a rare car to find in good condition , this one i even got mention in a classic car mag .

One of the very few old school JDM's I really like.

"Life's goal is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But, rather to skid in sideways........
totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

I believe I have previously mentioned my love of all things old and Celica/Supra/Celica-Supra related Big Grin

BEAUTIFUL car Bob. An excellent example, must be one of the best around. Have you seen it or had any contact with the new owner (forum maybe?) since it has gone?

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Had it for around 4 years, got it off feebay as a blind sale, took a chance on it, asked loads of questions and the deal was done.
My hard work paid off, as the money i sold it for, was pumped into the IS300 fund Smile
