This year will be Lisa & myself's first JAE with Outlaw, the previous 3 years we have been with MR2OC. We also attend the big Jap events each year -Japshow and Japfest, we have given up on Finale after the total washout of '08. We dont really do the Chav shows either. As said by Vix - with us both taking cars, fuel, food, tickets, more food, beer etc it can get quite expensive.

But for us - the convoy to the event is always great fun, and the friends you make each weekend are worth every penny. Myself and Lisa even met at JAE '08 (I think Blush ).

If you havent been to one of these shows before - GO!

Show prices have gone up and its getting expensive for everyone to attened we are more than happy to attend the main JAP shows, this being said the events at the Pod are always a good laugh and so is Modified Live at brands Hatch.

The key shows that we want to attened numbers permitting i feel are

Japshow
Japfest
Japfest 2
Japshow finale
JAE
Modified Live Brands Hatch
2 x Ace Cafe Meets

we would like to have Regional meets but its up to the members when and where these happen.....

Defo agree with Rabs on the Ace meets, no entry fees, and you dont have to spend money if you can not afford it, but always a good turn out from members and always have a good time

Japshow finale and JAE are too close this year, £300+ in two straight weekends on car shows isn't affordable for us and not going to miss JAE so am afraid Japshow finale will probably go amiss this year

Ok so to revive this thread in order to get some more attendees for shows, some people have already started budgeting for next years shows i know i have in the run up to Christmas i worked stupid amounts of hours as the work is there so why not.

As a whole we had are our largest numbers of cars at JAE and Ace Cafe i would like to think we can top this next year.

The club has booked mainly weekend events so far to allow members to get the most out of the shows

Weekend Booked

Japshow

Japshow Finale

Maragoni Fast Show

we will be booking for the following once dates are out

JAE

Modified Live Brands Hatch (camping is an option will get the pricing right this year)

Rising Sun Car Show (Numbers dependant)

Modified Nats Peterborough (Numbers dependant)

Non weekend shows
Japfest

2 x Ace Cafe Shows

Various Regional Meets

in order to try and facilitate members and the current economic climate, the club is happy to provide a BBQ and the Gas if you all wish to provide the food this will only be at the show grounds that allow us to do so.

Obviously the above being said we would need to know numbers as no point dragging all the stuff to a show for only 4 people to want to cook food lol

The club does have the option to buy in advance food for some shows Burgers Buns etc there would be a charge for this but its something that can be investigated if there is enough interest on a show by show basis.

The list above indicates we will be attending around 10 major shows, whilst we know not everyone can commit to these shows so early on the club is happy to hold tickets if a deposit is made this will also help you all in budgeting for the shows.

see you all in the new year
