sprinter2012 I think that may apply if both batteries are feeding into the same circuit so you don't get imbalance in power draw. But because Stav's small battery is only on the starter circuit it shouldn't be an issue.

In the instance to which I refer, it was one battery up front running the car, and another in the back running the amps, so not very balanced, as the amps would draw A LOT!

EDIT: That's audio stereo amps, not current amps, just to be totally clear!

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

I guess maybe what I am misremembering is that you should probably be running some kind of charge regulator if they are not matching specs, that is not required if they do match?

Got some more bits to fit now

Bought some Chargespeed wings off Ebay. already sprayed in the correct blue for me car.
However they could do with a respray in all honesty so will find out how much that will cost and if i can afford it this month i will try and get them fitted and see what they look like.

Also, does anyone know if their wider at any points at the edges? ive held them up to the car and made some measurements but i cant really tell. I dont think so but dont want to fit them then find their well off.
but i suppose its just a little bit of filler to line them up.

Also in terms of the battery, im getting some battery/alternator whine through the stereo, so going to change a couple of earths about and remake them to help solve it.

I think the edges where they meet the OEM panels are the same, but from what I've read the actual arch is 20mm further out at its widest point.

Yee should be fine without the bump strip, because the section on the door is angled away from the front edge it would probaly look like it was designed to be like that anyway. Smile
