The fact that he doesn't seem to want to change it does seem to kind of point to him wanted to mislead ?

Just noticed he's changed the power down from 210 to 190, but that's still wrong of course. Still says it's a different engine from the IS200.

Would it still be a BEAMS as advertised, thought the BEAMS was the 210bho one?

Yeah it's an AS200, which is the Altezza with the same engine as the IS200. He's thinking it's an RS200. He says he only just imported it from Japan, and now he's selling it. My guess is he found out when he got it that it wasn't the model he thought it was !

"BEAMS" doesn't really mean much, it does say that on the AS200 engine cover, even though most people would mean the 3S-GTE engine (RS200) when they say "BEAMS".

The UK spec of the IS200 is 153bhp. I'm not 100% sure but I think the difference with the JDM spec (159) is that's using Japanese petrol with a higher octane rating ? So I could be wrong ? Not sure if they'll deliver that here or not, although it doesn't really matter.

It's not an RS200, just look at the engine bay pics, it's the same (except for cosmetic differences) as an IS200. I will dig out an RS200 engine bay pic for comparison :

Looks different as the inlet is on the left too? or is that normal for the 200 too?

Yep, totally different. As you say, the inlet is on the left, along with the inlet manifold, on the RS200, whereas on the IS200 (and Altezza AS200) it's on the right (though of course induction kits usually come across to the left, just to confuse things).

The power steering reservoir is in a different place, the engine cover is very different, etc, etc.

The air intake and engine cover are the easiest things to spot really.
