Would be interested in what choice would.

The GS300 similiar to this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-GS-300-3...4aad8edec7

or an is250 similiar to this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-250-MULT...3f0d0217bb

(can I add that is250 is pretty cheap !)

Apart from the obvious such as power, and insurance and tax bands.

Which one would you choose and why

I like the is250 for its looks but the GS300 does it for me for spec and luxery.

I am planning to go to Lexus Bradford next weekend to basically sit in both to see what they like in the cockpit.

I have sat in an is before, but not an is250 se l multi, or an gs300

you opionions would be interesting beforehand !

If it absolutely had to be a choice between the2 then the 300,its a better all round car.

Have you thought of an Infiniti? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Infinit...35b0ff9214 really just a Nissan 350 with a wider wheel base, and better interior - but great cars if you want a moreinvolved driving experience?

In case it's a dealbreaker, the GS doesn't have the ML sound system unless it's an SE-L.

Take them both out for a test drive, having driven both I think the IS is the more refined machine, the GS feels cheaper (to a certain extent because it was) and has a lot more wind/road noise.

Btw, no idea what an IS250 multi is!! Is it an SE or an SE-L?
