Where have you mounted the intake temp sensor?
Also what type of fcd is it? It needs to be the STD type. Not the h2 or other type.
On the newer ones theres a little sticker that tells you.
im thinking same as stav....fcd..and your boost guage should me reading - to start with
also how about getting some pics up mate?
Thanks for all the help guys, but I think I have solved the problems now
It was a combination of afew issues we think.
We found a restriction between the airfilter and the S/C, so we diconnected everything before the S/C and ran the car without an airfilter to see if it helped - this made it run better until the engine bay got warm then the problem returned.
With the restriction removed, airfilter back on, and another run down the road, things had improved alot with the FCD set to 10. We set the FCD down to 9, which improved things again.
There is the odd time the car 'misses' slightly between 2700 and 3000rpm, but overall I am happy with the result.
Ill try and get some pictures up how it stands now - which is a mess to be honest, but it has been rushed for Trax and will be made tidy over the next month or so.
A few pics during/before the build - I didn't take many to be honest
New grill fitted
Engine Bay before starting work
Trial fit the day the supercharger came
Cradle and supercharger trial fit (during build)
Intercooler
Cradled Painted and Fitted
Supercharger On
Intake Pipework start
Thats all I have, I'll have to go outside when it stops raining to get some pics on how it is now - Sorry the pics are brilliant quality, they were taken on my phone
Obviously not upto the standard of the TTE kit, but it'll do for me!
Great colour !!! and welcome to the charged club
