Just 1 question that I have been curious about, does having a supercharger on the IS200 effect fuel consumption much?

I think that is up to the driver mainly! If you drive sensibly and responsibly, then no, I don't think it has any noticeable effect. If driven right, some say it can increase mpg slightly! However, if you red line it everywhere, drive around like a maniac, and cruise above the VVTi point, then yes, it can go through more fuel. The worst I ever clocked mine at was about 15mpg, though I would expect only 20mpg if ragging a stock motor around to the same degree, so it's not as bad as you might think. That's what I've found anyway, will keep an eye for what others think.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

im impressed with you getting 500miles with a full car! Sounds like it is swinging both ways dependant on how you drive. I do long drings quite regular so if there isnt much difference appart from a little more power then seems like a future investment.

I've heard as Stoney said, that if driven right it can improve your mpg. I will be finishing my supercharger setup hopefully this weekend, so I'll let you all know how I find it Smile

As above mine with the supercharger still averages around 32mpg, even had it at 34.5mpg when i last owned the sc'd is200? does depend on how you drive, but i've never found it to be any different on fuel really? :thumbup1:

I know my situation isn't the same, but I'd say that since supercharging mine, my town MPG has gone to sh*t....like REALLY bad. Whereas my motorway MPG hasn't changed much at all.
