Just about to hit the 100k mark.

Does anyone have a list of what is actually done during this service at a Lexus dealer.

On the service schedule it is classed as a full service.

Cheers.

I enquired about a 90k service from a Lexus specialist this week.

This is what's included:
********************************************

Thank you for your enquiry, your 90k service

Oil and oil filter change, engine flush

Under bonnet fluids checked and topped up,

Steering, suspension, brakes, exhaust, tyres checked ect

All genuine Lexus parts used.

Parts, labour and VAT

£162.38
*************************************************
I would say that at least you are looking at plugs, filters (air and pollen) on top..

Bearing in mind Lexus Croydon wanted £350 for the same service, you'd be looking at at least £500 plus for the 100k from a stealer.....

Hope that helps?

Sounds right to me, the services alternate between major and minor every 10K miles.

90K being a minor, and 100K being a major.

However at that sort of age there also may be additional things which need changing like brake fluid, coolant etc. that the dealer may not include in a standard service.

All of the things that are needed to be done are pretty simple nd you could do them yourself, it would save a fortune on costs.

I do all my own servicing and have no problems at all

I'm on 99k too lol, but tbh I do everything myself. I don't actually stick to a schedule I just do it as and when. (Not sure if thats a bad thing or not) but I do oil and filter every 6k.

^ Sorry that's quite a bad example lol I don't mean as and when as in like ohh it's been a few years better take a look under the bonnet I mean like replace a different part every month or so, give me something to do at weekends like.
But yeah at 100k I wouldn't really bother going to a main stealer, indy at the very most.

Not arguing with you at all on this mate as I know you're the man when it comes to all things Toyota/Lexus Blush but doesn't 40k seem a bit long to leave an air filter?

Service schedule on my old 3S-GTE was oil + filter every 6000 kilometres! Think that's every 3600 miles?
