4" striaght through exhaust it is then.

get the cat welded with 4" vbands on so you can bolt back in

It could be a cat melt down as you was cruising at a steady light throttle, this when the mixture weakens off for fuel economy but the disadvantage of this is very high combustion temps and high nitroa oxide levels. so with weak mixture and hi temps i would bet the cats have melted. you did not by any chance observe you air/fuel ratio??

Not at tge time unfortunately but the afr is highly erratic at idle now. It's definitely blocked I think. Makes a farting noise when trying to pull away and also there is a lot of powder residue in the exhaust tip

Down an exhaust shop now as I couldn't get the bolts undone with the car just on stands.

Had to bring a metal coat hanger tho as they won't fish out the cat for me - will only unbolt it!!
