A quick heads up... my mate has a HEL brake line kit, some months ago when he lost all the braking. The line had fractured at the banjo fitting swaging. He did contact HEL who didnt sem to be too concerned and said it was the first time this had happened.

I have just read over on another site I visit 2 other people have had exactly the same issue - they were also told "its the first time". both people had contacted HEL about the issue.

Some digging around the net throws up various incidents of HEL lines spliting or seperating at the banjo.

If you have a HEL kit look at the condition of the lines NOW!

hmmmmmm. Thats not very good, especially being brake lines!

I have a Hel custom made clutch line and will be going for the brake lines once i work them out. Im guessing if they are not applying enough pressure to the fixing when they attach them then there is a possability of them coming apart down the line. Althought thats quite serious and they should be checking every line before it goes out the door!

The 'Demon' is on its way :Shooting:

I have HEL lines on the Z. I'm changing my suspension this week/weekend, so will check mine then. Mine didn't come with a P clip or anything to secure it though, we secured them as best we could, hopefully they're not affected.
