FOOT NOTE, WHEN YOU GO TO PUT YOUR CLOCKS BACK IN TO CHEAK THE LEDS ARE WORKING AND THEIR IN THE RIGHT WAY, DONT FOTGET TO RE-CONNECT THE DIMMER SWITCH!!! HAD MINE IN N OUT 5 TIMES BEFORE THE PENNY DROPPED:o

Ok guys, just did mine at work (quiet today!) cant really tell as its very sunny, so gonna recheak them to night when its darker.

04-09-2018, 04:28 AM #62just done mine and very happy, done the ash tray light and the ignition light and very happy, also fitted a 1mtr 60 smd strip in the boot but going to order another one, but one is more than enough . also fitted a capless 501 around the cig lighter too , will get some pics up soon,

I've ordered 2 smd strips for the boot but doing something nice with them iil post pictures in my thread wants I've done it

I've ordered 2 smd strips for the boot but doing something nice with them iil post pictures in my thread wants I've done it
Yeah this is one thing that made me lol on the Lexus all the luxurious items on it and a boot light the size of a 10p piece that gives off a warm glow instead of any light :Sulk:
Pat can you wire an SMD strip straight into the O/E wiring with butt connectors or the like?

yes you can but soldering would be better but it will work all the same should just have a + - connection

Yeah i can strip and solder with heat shrink or i have them water proof butt connectors.
I couldnt believe the size of that boot light when I saw it :lol:
Next mod is this then, did you just get the adhesive ones that stick to the boot lining?
