they are an optional extra on the VXR8 and my mate has it one, works of a remote control and it's brilliant, when closed you wouldnt even realise the car was running, open it up and it sounds like thunder as it should, looking to get one on mine once the v8 is sorted
basically a butterfly valve you can control from inside the car to quiet the exhaust down

basically a butterfly valve you can control from inside the car to quiet the exhaust down

Fully closed, very neighbour friendly.
Interior noise is as per standard exhaust.
Fully open, what you would expect from a japspeed.
