08-11-2018, 12:56 PM #1any guys that have had this done, what sort of cost is this to do, i have seen 1jz gte engines and 2 jz engines on ebay for a reasonable price, do these mate straight up to the standard box any prices for other stuff be a great help or garages that you have used

the 1GGTE i have does though.
With the 1jz and 2jz if you want 6 gears your going to have to get a very expensive Getrag box (v160/161) or go to 5 gears with a R154 or W58.
Prices vary HUGELY depends on the garage, spec, etc. My conversion cost me £5k, but he's quoting £7k to do it again.
a 2JZ conversion is extremely expensive unless you do a lot of the work yourself.
Unless your hugely serious about modifying the car just buy something faster.

If you wanted to turn up the power on that one I have a 1g-fe forged block as well.....
Depending on how much you want to spend my old turbo Lexus is up for sale......

With a standard engine you can keep the standard exhaust with not too much issue. you *may* be able to use an ecu like the emanage ultimate but id recommend getting a standalone (i have the Link G4 Storm).
uprated fuel pump and thats about it.
