Looking good the smoothed look is the nuts are you just having the engine in there ?

Are you wrapping or braiding and heat shrinking the new looms ?

Well the headlight wires etc are run under the arches.

Ive completely removed the standard ECU now so a lot of the wires used to go from the fuse box to the ecu then to the engine etc.
Now they all hide under the fuse box, or come from the Link Ecu straight from inside, along the rear firewall then all the wires are going to the engine from the back rather than the side like they used to.

and ive just removed a lot of wires as well. as the standard ecu gets so many signals that quite frankly it doesnt need lol

Wrapping, then plastic conduit, then wrapping again. just trying to make it look tidy.

Moved the relay box inside the car as well so that gets rid of another box. Battery is already in the boot so moving the fusebox right back to the firewall to keep it all neat.

Wont the plastic conduit it make it s bit to buky and rigid ?

Have you thought about making a race spec loom for the engine.

All cables inside black shrink/expand branding and all ends heat shrunk with the glue heat shrink won't fall of easily plus once shrunk the glue would melt and won't come off with the engine heat that will be generated in that monster

Then any connectors that are on display injectors plus etc would have a label on
Injector 1 then clear heat shrink over if you get all the labels facing the same way same distance from the connector it looks the nuts

Wayne did a bit of braiding and heat shrink on almost finished car.......

Just a thought

Is that loose glass mat you're using? (chopped glass mat)

You might find it easier to get a good finish with woven cloth - no sticking out bits, goes on nice and thin, drapes nicely:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-Meter-fibreg...594wt_1396

I'd sling it on the underside as a support/scaffold, then pop a light skim of filler inside the hole you see on the top side, so that its mostly metal you're painting/seeing rather than glass.

Circles cut from aluminium flashing tape popped over the hole and sprayed can look good too. Cheating mind!
