twin turbo question
twin turbo question
wonder what my chances are of getting one of these engines cheap lol loads of 1jz and 2 jz cheap
Umm well I kinda have almost a whole 1ggte engine here it's missing rods and pistons.....
But
I also have a forged block for a 1gfe my understanding is the pistons and rods are the same between the the 2 engines but the 1ggte block would need to be bored out due to them being uprated etc so you could build a bullet proof engine.......
yeah i have antilag launch control as part of the ecu.
you can use the link with any engine mate, If your looking for reasonably easy power. Jay's turbo kit, or build your own turbo kit on the standard engine of with Rabs block. Most of the work could be done by a standard garage/yourself with just the Link fitting and mapping needing to be done by a specialist IMHO
im not sure , love my is200 the space , drive etc but wanting some serious power now thinkin about the supra route, want the power of the supra TT but with out having to spend 10k to get it, kinda wish id got the mitsy 3000gt that i was going to get before i saw the lexus
what sort of power are the single turbo units getting guys
If memory serves almost finished is around 400bhp
my old is200 was dynod at 282 but was restricted due to wrong exhaust
Lexiiss has got 330+ on his which was same setup as mine just with the bigger exhaust 3" all the way
what sort of cost is there to single turbo the standard engine, i presume there is a turbo kit avail for these or have you guys made your own up from certain parts
