still think you should buy the forged block its sitting here all ready, no need for bearings piston rings and getting the block Honed cleaned etc

Right you dont need the 1ggte crank if you have the 44mm big end size rods if you have the smaller big end size rods 42mm then you need the crank or you can have the 1gfe crank machined to 42mm size.

if you have the 44mm big end rod size you can use the 1ggte and the 1gfe they are the same part number no need to use the 1ggte crank

to make the 1gfe stronger you need the pistions and conrods from the 1ggte you can not get a thicker headgasket for the 1gfe you dont need one as the pistions from the 1ggte lower the comperssion alot anyway

Things done :- SPC turbo kit (custom), Blueflame cat back with custom tip, B&M shortshift, grooved discs all round, Mintex pads all round, OEM wheels in white,Denso ik22s, Calipers painted black,04 spec rear lights, Tein basic coilovers, Helix organic clutch, Fan washer jets, late spec headlights (dark), Carbon bonnet, Hotchkis anti roll bars, Front arm rest, Top box from late spec.

the pistions will fit the 1gfe block as long as the pistions are ok i would put a new set of piston rings on if your not going to

also you cant get 1ggte small and big end shells from toyota anymore ive got a set of new ones from a 1gfe differnt part number but they fit just the same.

also the snap rings in the pistons that hold the piston pin in place you cant get anymore from toyota im having 3 sets made at the moment as you cant get them anywhere

hope this helps

ok if there gen3 then they are 44mm big ends i would still run a rule over them to check
the 1ggte has two sizes of rods 42mm 44mm

if you had 42mm ones you could use toyota 4k acl race shells with them but as there 44mm there is none around that ive found yet

i wouldnt be useing the bearings if there used ones?

and your welcome
