Excellent progress mate. Makes me miss mine deeply.

Careful though as the car will be a money pit.. I must have sunk over 10k in mods easily into my old one through the course of my ownership!

Ok, after a little incident the other evening which resulted in the rear fog light mount snapping, I have now relocated the rear fog. I just need to get another bulb with a coloured lense so that it lights up red, then I will get a couple pics put up.

Rear of the car looks alot better without the unit hanging from the bottom of the bumper.

Put the fog light in one of the reverse light holders then?

Easy, cheap and effective mod that Smile

That is what I've done, but don't currently have a red bulb, might get some red tint and spray the actual lense rather than changing the bulb though. Haven't decided yet.

I wouldn't unless you have a very bright bulb as the the tint really dulls it down Smile

Ok, update time.

Got the rear foglight sorted eventually, ended up putting a red bulb in it, so that from looking at the rear the is still white but its all working properly now. Didnt get any picsa of this I'm afraid.

Managed to get a swap on my roll bar for a chrome style bar, which means I can now see out of my rear view mirror.

Also, changed the original pathetic seal beam headlight units for a set of hella units and proper H4 bulbs, I'll be able to upgrade to HIDs in the future now too.

Old vs New

Looks a good car to me dude! Quite like the mk1's, and a really good choice for a project! If I had a criticism it'd be the wheels, but I know we're all different, and no doubt you'd have issues with my car Smile
Keep up the good work buddy! Looking forward to future updates
