I would pop the pins out and do a visual check for wear on them, cant hurt. Bearings wise i guess you can use the 1g-fe standard for the big ends as they are all 44mm

I have a set or ARP head studs if you fancy as you are upping the power.....

For the cost of the pins I would replace them now saves something going wrong just after the rebuild....

jimbob150385 So i can use my crank gd gd
I need new bearings for the pistons if used
shells i need to find
is it worth changing the piston pins then?
new piston rings

Right

yes you will nedd new mains bearings and new big end bearings

the pistion pins take them out and have alook see what there like you could always take it to a engine builders to get them to check

small end shells for them i had to have made toyota dont stock them dont know of anyone else that does?

new piston rings yes you can still get these from toyota

Things done :- SPC turbo kit (custom), Blueflame cat back with custom tip, B&M shortshift, grooved discs all round, Mintex pads all round, OEM wheels in white,Denso ik22s, Calipers painted black,04 spec rear lights, Tein basic coilovers, Helix organic clutch, Fan washer jets, late spec headlights (dark), Carbon bonnet, Hotchkis anti roll bars, Front arm rest, Top box from late spec.

to get the bearing mate its not as simple as just getting them you need the bearing grading sheet and numbers from the block, crank and rods

to get the right ones then you still have to check the oil Clearance’s to make sure there 100% right

I must be quite lucky having the hole set of genuine lexus workshop manuals at home!
