el_gencer The next issue i found was the ABS light flashes when the device is connected. After a bit of searching, it turns out it also does the same on MR2s. Might be a Toyota thing with the ELM327 ?

I have the same OBD2 Bluetooth adapter, and it doesn't cause my ABS light to flash, never has and I've had mine for about 12 months now. Maybe a difference in firmware?

The USB OBD2 reader which I have had for about 3 years is also the same.

It only flashes if i plug it in before starting the car. The key trick that Dark Samurai mentioned also stops it from flashing as does connecting it up after the car has been started.

I did some extra testing today again. I cleared the memory on my phone and the dials responded a little quicker. I then tried it on an SGS2 and the update was comparable to my SGS. Not instant, but certainly a lot less laggy. Maybe i'm expecting too much ? I'll get the kiwi plx eventually but for now this'll do.
