The reducer on the end of the Y piece, its 2 pipes joined together 3" and 2.5". Then the 3" expanded to 3.25" to slip over 3" pipe and the 2.5" expanded to 2.75" to slip over 2.5mm.

There is a slight mark in the middle.

Right couple more pics to update on the progress:

Engines all rebuilt except the inlet spacer and the last few exhaust shims. So getting a guy at work to machine the shims and still looking for somewhere to make the spacer though I've now at least got a cad drawing for it.

You can see the engine here with the mock up spacer so I can tell how everything else fits, as well as some wiring but that needs all covering yet.

You can also see my awesome new alternator bracket to drop it below the inlet manifold and throttle.

I've also ground off the second traction control throttle off the 1jz inlet and just need thee holes welding over then I'm gonna get the inlet and throttle power coated in Black I think.

Also took some advice and put a cover on the cams, it'll come off at shows but for day to day a little protection for the cam belt, just started making it look prettier lol. Basically it's the standard one but modified a bit so it fits my setup.

Also started filling the arches, look even better already. Anyone got any tips for sanding and filling I need to know?

Also I've put the front passenger side back together mostly, you can see how much better it looks when it's less cluttered.

Next job is finish the arch, finish the wiring loom.

Then continue the interior wiring till the engine parts are ready.

Edit: just had a phone call off the guy machining my shims and their done so I'll pick them up in the morning and finish the rebuild properly.

Will also hang the engine on the crane so I can change the rear oil seal as well.

Do all your fillering to so its all smooth spray some Matt black paint over them leave it to dry and sand it all and the paint will be left in the low spots so you know where to add filler or where to sand and just keep doing the process until your happy that it's as level as you can get it it helps a lot mate and as my dad always says the less filler you put on the less you have to take off same with getting it as smooth as you can it'll save a lot of time sanding process

So your tuckin 15's, that's cute but come back to me when you get some proper size wheels

Good tips there mate, that what im currently doing with the white primer.

It's a messy job sanding lol. I've got a Hoover in the garage though and I've also found having that nearby helps keep the area clean.
