toxo I dunno about flush mounting them, you will have to have them protrude a little to be visible from the rear of the car. It doesn't have to be much though, just enough to see the light.

Have a look at a recent Merc or BMW, to get a clearer idea!

If it wraps around the curve of the mirror, almost to the outside edge, that should be visible. How about on the underside of the mirror? That should also work.

They will do the job i guess. You (I) could try frenching them in a little so they're not quite so proud
