toxo Watching with interest given my 3S-GTE history Big Grin Best of luck!

Did you buy the engine knowing it was shafted?

yeah, Smile got it at a steal as was going to forge it and make a 500-600bhp monster but as the engine is running so well in the car at the moment and is swet as a nut and perfect compression i think i will keep it as it is and not play with fire at the moment.

so the engine is sat in pieces in my garage awaiting doctoring.

however i shall be getting a respray before the engine is forged as i want a change of colour. Smile

cheers guys, yeah mugen i cant have a car that looks like it goes and doesnt! but seen as i limit my week road driving boost to 0.5bar to save fuel and be sensible i go on alot of trackdays to cure my thirst for speed and trackdays!

suspension is running GAB adjustable rear shocks on Tein stiffened springs and KYB shocks on Tein on the front.

Brakes are the big stock 315mm discs all round 4 pots up front and 2 pots on rear running Carbotech pads and my god it stops.

My mate is the Carbotech sales manager so always go for them as compared to anything else is like having no pads in! haha

It's a beauty mate! Looks like you have been busy with it over the time you've had it!

It looks much better on the newer wheels... running good power too. :thumbup1:

cheers guys!

yeah loved every minute of the 7 years ive had her! been expensive but well worth it! Smile

yeah very good power for stock ecu and the ct turbo... as far as im aware 326bhp makes it one of the most powerfull gtfours in the country if not near the most running on both a stock ecu and a stock turbo at only 1.05bar... most cant hit over 315bhp at 1.2bar with the same mods so im happy, its a 60mph in around 4.1 - 4.7 depending on how abusive you want to be with the clutch and gears and goes like a steam train with fairly low lag so im happy. for now

haha, cheers, well i have a long long way to go to beat my brothers but then im not too bohered as round cadwell the lack of lag on mine is actually quite benificial as opposed to a big garrett unit.... mind you the noise of the car when the wastegate opens through the screamer pipe is something to behold indeed!

but yeah, i have the spare block to build over time, just as of the moment i see no need, i think with a few more modifications and to be honest, i might even just bolt a 3071 to the engine as it is and only run 1.4bar and uprate all the cooling even further and it in theory could be fine on the block as it is.

but then i dont think i want to risk blowing a mint block.

but cheers for comments, nice to see people like the work that has gone into her, i was just glad to be the first owner from Japan and the fact that whoever it was had put all the optional extras from the factory so the nice TRD kit was on from its birth, even had all the paperwork and reciepts from japland... enough geekness though.
