Loving all these updates, I like the splitters. But I think the back edges need to blend into the bumper a bit more?

EDIT: After a second glance...do the splitters curve up at the corners? That would explain why they don't smooth back into the bumper. Any chance of a pic of them with the camera at bumper level to show the shape better? :thumbup1:

More bits the past few days.

Firstly I fitted a new alarm I got from Rabs. No pics of the install but all now fitted and snuggled away under the dash, it's fairly busy under there with the keyless entry/push start as well lol

You can also see the current state of the interior lol

Trial fitted the new speedo, just need to cover the plastic. You can also see the knock display/warning moulded into the dash where the fog buttons are. And the alarm buttons under that.

I've rewired the rear fog to the front fog switch as I don't have front fogs anymore so it's convenient. Also don't have washers, and got rid of the electric adjustment on headlights so no need for any buttons lol.

I've had a go at painting the arch on the passenger side I've already fitted:

Only rattle canning it so will see how it turns out, if not sand it back and get it done properly. Few more coats and clear coat to go yet.

Also started fitting the second arch, starting to fill that now, couple more goes would have it perfect

Fitted the flip flop boot as well, I quite like it, though I think may need to adjust the oem brackets so it holds the lid a bit further forward.
You can also fit a bolt to return the boot to normal configuration simply.

Nice tidy install of the bottle for the meth/water injection as well

Pump is nicely fitted under the car but had a leak, I think I've fixed it now so hopefully no further issues.

Also fitted my cryo2 fuel bar. Basically I run CO2 through it then onto the intercooler spray bar. It ices over and you also run your fuel through it (obviously different chambers) and it cools the fuel, makes it denser so better for the engine.
No idea if it actually works but only one way to find out.

Thanks to Patriks pictures from his race car I've fitted the roll lock as well. Ordered some custom lines from eBay made to my lengths and fit perfectly.

Also a job I'm not happy with, filled the hole in my bumper where I used to have the camera. On the good side it came out well to match the rest of the bumper with the rattle can, on the negative you can still see the hole. Grr. Will have to redo it if I get chance.

Well that's everything, still havent done the engine loom so will force myself onto that tomorrow. Also got to finish the wiring on the passenger side glove box.
I've had the throttle body welded up as well, basically the 1jz inlet I'm using, the throttle body had a second throttle for traction control and some other bits, I've ground them off and got the holes welded up, so now to grind the welds back down and that's done.

Engine will be pretty much ready to go back in then. Still got to mount the engine fuse box, kill switch and FPR but they shouldn't be too hard.

All coming together ready for the Lincoln show!

Also got roped into changing the oil and filter on the wife's car as well. A 1.3 Suzuki swift. Was actually really easy! The filter is directly behind the bumper pointing down. Don't even have to jack the car up, just lay down and you can see it.

Took maybe 1/2 hour start to finish job done.

At the moment it's just disabled, but have the solenoid to make it electronic.

well i forced myself to do the wiring loom today, its all finished and wrapped now ready for the engine. Also used some of the foil tape Jim linked to cover near where the exhaust goes, ive never had heat issues in the past but you can never be too careful.

Doesnt look much but when you consider it looked like this:

all the wiring in the bucket,
and i had to shorten most of it, cut some out, rewire quite a bit, and reroute all of it. Its been quite a lot of work!

heres a pic of where the kill switch, FPR and fuse box will be mounted:

just need some ally to replace the wood, and a couple of posts to mount the fuse box to and thats the engine bay done.
