GoPro HD Hero Motorsport Review and Video
Hey guys.
I got some funds together, and bought myself a GoPro HD Hero Motorsport edition Video Camera.
For those who don't know what a GoPro is, it's basically a tiny little video camera that comes with various mounts depending on which package you buy, you can strap it to your car, bike, boat, surfboard, plane, I've even seen videos with people sticking their GoPro to their dog lol
So I chose the Motorsport edition GoPro, this means it came with a suction cup mount, which means you can go to 150+ mph with it mounted on a car, and 200mph+ on a plane. (I figured that as the air pressure is lower and there is less wind at x feet up in the sky...)
Here's a few pictures of it so far:
Look what came!
The GoPro and suction cup mounted to my kitchen side:
The GoPro next to a lighter, so you can see how small it really is:

Just a Random pic:
Anyway! The case it comes with is a fully waterproof case, I did a test and it doesn't let any water in at all due to a rubber seal around the door on the back and a big stiff clamp (not horribly stiff, just securely stiff).
But for when you want to mount the GoPro on your car, and go under 100 mph, they supply you with a non waterproof door for the housing so it will let engine or other noises in, but still no wind noise, whereas if you use the waterproof door, it's really quiet and you can't really hear a thing.
So, pros and cons:
Pros:
So small. Easily mountable to a lot of surfaces. Very strong suction from the suction cup. A range of different mounts for a whole lot of different things. HD video at 720p 30fps, 720p 60fps or 1080p 30fps. HD Sound recording also. Charges quickly. A range of settings for all uses. Live video to plug into your TV and use it as a CCTV camera.
Cons:
Battery only lasts around 2.5-3 hours because its such a small battery. The camera is very memory hungry, a 17 minute video was 1.02GB! There is no on board memory so you have to buy a memory card.
I really have only 2 cons with this camera, it's probably the best buy for my money I have ever bought.
If anybody else wants to buy one, just say and I'll give you the link
Here's the link of me testing it on the Celica GT-Four and a friend's Proton:

Thanks for reading guys, hope you enjoyed it and have expanded your knowledge if you were unaware of any of this.

Nice camera , why do all the street lights look like balls of fire ?
That's because it was raining and there was a bit of water on the lens so they sort of changed the way everything was seen, if you get me?
