Finished the mount for the fuse box etc:

I broke the power cable crimp though, so ordered a new one and when that's done I can seal around the edge of the plate and set it in place.

Ordered a set of the new engine mounts as well so they Should stiffen things up nicely.

Arches and wiring in the passenger side are about the only things then left to do, need to get the spacer made up then engine back in and then the real spending starts.

Tax
Insurance
Painting
Mapping

Grim!

I bought it from a place called Turborevs

http://turborevs.org.uk/vmchk/lambo-door...ducts.html

But it needed some work to actually fit properly. The idea is there but the actually craftsmanship needs a bit more work from them IMHO.

I'm happy with my end result though. Could do with removing it and spraying the bracket though.

Ive got a flip flop boot and agree it does need some more work to it also stav stav do you find it unstable that each boot hinge can move independantly i was thinking its need a way to tie the 2 hinges to gether to keep the boot square when opening??? also when open does your boot clear the back window or pretty much sit on it when the boot is open?

It sits on the back window, hence why I need to try and hold it forward somehow.

And yeah it is unstable which is why I keep it in the normal layout most of the time and the flip will only be for shows I reckon.

I was thinking of a cross frame to keep it rigid, with the window problem the only way is to keep it forward turns out to be bit of a pain!!!

well another productive day in the sun.

Finished off the wiring on the passenger side footwell.

-Water injection pump all wired in
-Roll lock all wired in and button working perfectly on gearstick
-Dash wiring all done except control switches

Also sprayed up the surround for the dash, done it in body colour and i quite like it!

i sprayed the flip flop brackets as well so they dont stand out as much.

Also sealed in the fuse box mount and switches, all fixed and done.

Also fitted my new engine mounts from Vibra Technics, awesome bits of kit. As with Lexiis thread their still in development and use the centre from the M3 as the engine is in the same weight area so should be good. Ordered them last Saturday, paid Wednesday and had them on Thursday!

2 very old mounts:

one surrounded by the replacements:

and all fitted:

Also hoovered out the car today ready to put the seats in when the last 2 interior jobs are done. Def getting close!

Next steps are to bolt the exhaust valve control to the side of the drivers seat area, and run the exhaust temp thermocouple then i can refit the seats.
Boots been all put back together now ive run the water injection cables, and the engine bays just waiting on the engine one i have the spacer piece.
