Hey guys
My mum's prius is going in for an M.O.T tomorrow.
I'm just wondering if the HIDs would make it fail at all?
It's a 57 plate prius, and I retrofitted HIDs to it?
Do you guys, specifically ormi know if it'll fail due to the HIDs not having headlight washers or self levelling?
Thanks guys
Oli

Mine aren't self-levelling and they passed the MOT just fine.

According to Ormi when I asked him, as long as the light beam pattern is ok, you shouldn't fail the test...

IS200 Sport - Sold
Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway  )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

It won't fail.

I've failed an MOT on HIDs before but that was because I was running non E marked lenses and the beam pattern was all over the place.

The washers and levelling are only required for original factory fitment, and do not apply to aftermarket kits. As has already been stated, beam pattern is all that is tested for MOT. My Lex has had HIDs in for years and passed many MOTs.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:
