FirebirdPhil Looking like real progress has been made. Well done.
On the roof antenna - the difference made was night and day in my old car, DAB never lost signal once fitted, you may need to make the roof hole just a little bigger?

Yeah 1mm bigger lol, nothing a step drill couldn't manage

Well today's work was hard but I got there:

Engine ready to go in:

That was hard enough getting the gearbox on by myself lol.

Also discovered the last garage to fit the clutch (a local place) had put it in backwards so there was some marking on the bolts. Won't be going back there.

Then I started the fitting, extremely difficult for three reasons, firstly as you can see no balance bar to keep the engine level, second using the garage beam so had to bring the car to the engine, thirdly I was on my own.

But after some swearing, heaving, and general muscle usage it was in:

However I caused a little damage to the engine bay:

Will have to sand that down and spray it back up but other major.

As you can see most of the loom is attached, just need the inlet manifold on now and that will cover a lot of the wiring up making it cleaner.

Def coming together now.

Lol it wouldn't have even flinched its that well made!

Well hurricanes work of art arrived today, and I must say its perfect!

All fully fitted and the manifold on, though not bolt the manifold on yet, just needed it to line up the pipe work. Will need to come off again to make all the wires tidier below it.

Also fitted the intercollegiate pipes on the turbo side and made a bracket for the throttle cable.

Got myself a huge list of things that need doing, but just one more day off work getting in the way then 5 off to hopefully get her near to finished!
