Hi All,

I had my speedo out yesterday modifying the lights guides etc to make it look better but now all my needles are wrong. I have managed to sort the Rev and speedo out ok but the fuel guage, temp, mpg and voltage are all wrong. Is there a way to reset the clocks so they all read right again or a trick to putting the needles back in the right plasce? I have tried putting them on when it's all off and put them to their lowest possible point and tried putting them on when all the dials are connected and powered up but I cannot see to get them to sit right.

Many thanks all

Did you take the needles off the motors?

If so it will be hard to get them back in the right place.

temp can be sorted by letting the car warm up, then sticking the needle on in the middle position.

fuel can be done by filing the tank and then putting it at the top.

voltage, have the engine running and put it just under 14v

not sure about mpg though

Just looked up a pic from when I did my LED speedo, when the engine is running and the car is stationary the needle rests on the stopper.

But it's going to be VERY hard to get the mpg right from a picture because you'd have to have the throttle in exactly the same position, same speed, same angle of road surface etc.
