Cheers guys, it's one item I really wanted for my build. Keep it all looking OEM and stops the charger being quite as noisey:thumbup:

I paid £50 plus postage for it, no idea how much these go for though as I've never seen one sold separately before.

It's heat reflective aluminium tape for wrapping airboxes and air ducts etc. to help prevent heat soak. I've already done the underside of my OEM airbox and scoop with it. Actually reduced the temperature of the top side of the airbox and scoop by quite a lot as the heat doesn't get absorbed by the bottom now.

Moley I've got one sitting in my shed that will never be fitted because induction kit all the way for me

I was going to go down the induction kit route until I saw the video posted up last week which basically said cone filters make no difference to all but the highest powered cars. And I'm trying to keep it all stealthy so the TTE airbox is perfect Smile Probably going to get the intercooler painted black so the car doesn't look charged from the outside.

Haven't actually opened it up to check yet, I'll probably leave that until I'm closer to finishing the kit.
