Little write up on the evolution of my car
Little write up on the evolution of my car
Sparkystav Well seen as the Lexus currently looks like this:du lich phu quoc, khach san phu quoc, du lich con dao, khach san con dao
Until the new gaskets arrive on Friday, I thought I'd gets with some other jobs I hadn't yet done on the car.
First was to fit the racelogic performance box I'd bought. It uses gps to measure speed, acceleration, everything. Can log laps round tracks to compare alsorts. Still loads of work to do but a rough fit:
Other job, to finish the black interior conversion, was to recover the roof in black suede. Think it came out quite well:
Fitted some grey sunvisors, and bought some grey grab handles to replace the standard cream. Ignore the wires, their for the roof screen I've not put back yet.
I'd already sprayed one a pillar black, the other is my gauge pod in black and I've wrapped the b pillars in carbon. So all that was left was the c pillars. With these I've done something special.
I long since removed the rear speakers to allow the bass through but wanted more sound from the back. So armed with a pair of door mounts, spare c pillars, and some fibreglass I created these:
In progress:
And finished:
Not a bad ob if I do say so myself!
Next job is remove the rear shelf and wrap in suede as well covering the old speaker holes so I can remove the grills.
