Ok I've marked the forum posts as read which was a mistake and now on ly a few posts come up. How do I change this setting so it's back to the way it was ?

It does effectively make it difficult for you to see any posts that you hadn't read, cos the forum now can't tell you haven't read them. Best bet is to look at the Today's Posts link but even then you'll only get posts from the past 24 hours... Stuff you hadn't read that's older than that won't show up as unread - you'll just have to hunt through the different forums and see what you haven't read...

It's not a setting mate, it just marks any unread posts as read so they won't show up in the New Posts page.
It does effectively make it difficult for you to see any posts that you hadn't read, cos the forum now can't tell you haven't read them. toxo You can't. There's only 1 record per user of what posts you've read and by clicking the link you overwrite that record saying that as of now, you've read everything. Can't go back without a complete database restore from before you clicked it.
