Hello all,

Can someone tell me how important the ground is when fitting gauges - specifically an AFR Gauge and a boost gauge.

I read somewhere that the ground you use for the AFR is very important, I was just going to use the ground from the stereo - is this ok? Or should I run a separate ground to a grounding point?

Thanks

Run a good ground it's important to ensure the correct voltage.

I use the bolts that hold the stereo in.

Witchanic wouldn't fit gauges on the ground ... When you drive away you will either run them over or leave them behind Smile

One other question - does it matter how many times I T the vacuum pipe?

It's just the one I have ran from the TB is T'd to the SSQV, the MAP Sensor and now the boost gauge!

No mate it doesn't matter. Just more places to leak though so make sure theyre tight.

I have an old plenum for sale if you want that?

It's basically a machined tube, with threaded fittings. You connect the boost off take to the end, the. Tap off from the other ports.
