Fitting the E-Manage Ultimate
Hi all,
Ive bought a second hand Emanage Ultimate it came with a plug-n-play harness for an R33 Skyline does anyone know if i can wire this into my 1GFE ECU?
My second question is does anyone have any info/diagrams/websites that will help me wire it in? (whether I need a universal harness or not)

dimis hi the harness from R33 is not plug and play for the 1GFE. Looks at my project thread to see how i wired mine. there are some wire diagrams i have posted

Stix44 Sorry i dont think i was clear, i didnt mean was it plug and play i just meant can i butcher it to wire it in like a universal harness?
Ill have a look through your build now.

Right I attempted to fit the ECU yesterday/last night and it was a total disaster.
Wired everything in, turned all maps off (because I want to do some data logging before I do any mapping) and the car wouldn't start.
So I swapped the inputs/outputs round incase I had wired them in the wrong way and it still wouldn't start!
So in the end I removed all the "breaks" in the standard loom and wired them back up as per standard and it started but I'm pretty sure its miss-firing and basically wont move unless the throttle is on full! Also it used £10 worth of petrol in about 5miles.
Can anyone advise what I should look at/do to get a better understanding of what I need to do? I'm going to draw myself some diagrams to try and get everything straight in my head so once I've done those ill post them up.
What jumpers have you put on mate?
my tip: make a wiring table - ie. what the wire does, what colour, and wher eit goes on the IS.
honestly i thought the two diagrams/lists above would be enough to wire it it, obviously not!
here is the jumper table:
These are my jumper settings:
1 - open - add and remove fuel
2 - open - add and remove fuel
3 - open - add and remove fuel
4 - open - add and remove fuel
5 - open - add and remove fuel
6 - open - add and remove fuel
7 - 1-2 - Normal
8 - 1-2 - 5V (should be 2-3? 12V)
9 - open - does nothing (mazda hotwire)
10 - 1-2 - GT-R RB26DETT (Ive changed it to open which means it does nothing)
11 - open - nothing
12 - open - nothing
13 - open - "normal knock sensor"
14 - open - "normal knock sensor"
15 - 1-2 - "normal RPM"
16 - open - karman in (not used?)
17 - 1-2 - karman out (not used?)
18 - open - add and remove fuel
19 - 1-2 - I/J, Sub I/J, NVCS, Relay(-)
20 - 1-2 - I/J, Sub I/J, NVCS, Relay(-)
Ive done my own diagram which makes sense to me (its also how i wired it the first time when it wouldnt start! ) but whether its right or not i dont know.
Ill re-do it on word or something and post it up.
