Hmmm I think ill just stick to the standard gear for now or at least until i know for certain it needs a rebuild.

I've spoken to Andy Cross at Lexus Poole and he has got me a PCV valve for £23 delivered Smile

So ill try that and then decide what I'm going to do with it.

It would have to have some kind of mental cylinder thickness to get a 10% increase just from boring lol

Has the 1G-FE got cylinder liners? If it has then you'll be severely limited as to how far you can bore it. More luck with stroking it but then you lose top end.

he means in the engine, in some engines the hole the pistons are in isnt just the block.
Companies make the hole bigger than the piston then put a sleeve in to make it the right size. means the liner can be a better/stronger material than the block.
