FirebirdPhil Times must be hard when they can't afford their own breaking in equipment lol.

Thank the lord your car wasn't touched.

Tell me about it. I know they haven't touched anything in the garage but just the toolbox for the hammer, the breaker was on the side.

Thankfully the engines out the car!

Today I fitted my IK22 Spark Plugs, and Fitted new O-Rings to my 1JZ injectors (which were leaking slightly) and took the car for its first drive in about 2 months

Im just hoping the weather stays good tomorrow so I can fit my 160mm pulley and Mini Cooper S bypass valve

Today I did nothing with my car except push it out the garage so we could get my mates in to do some work.

Meant to also have a simple job on another mates Clio to change pads and an abs sensor.
The slider pin was seized and sheeted on one side, then the entire hub had to come off on the other to get the abs sensor drilled out, only to then find the replacement was the wrong one!
So that cars now stranded on my drive till we can get a new slider pin.

Also tried to change my mate gearbox bearings on his civic turbo. We dropped the subframe, removed both driveshafts, and got the gearbox out, changed everything we needed to, but right at the end we found a cracked bearing! fuming, now 2 cars stranded till at least Monday!

Bad times. I spent the whole weekend arguing with an Astra a few weeks ago, reminds you that we are spoilt with the better designed Japanese layouts sometimes!

Today I drove to Norwich, Emma drove back (which was great, she has her driving test on Thursday and that was 2 and a half hours solid in the dark and rain with no mistakes). Nissan didn't miss a beat. Tomorrow it's Dan's timing belt...
