Well basically the simple part of it is I've changed the lights to led rings in both the fogs and rear lights.

The lights didn't come out great in the picture. but you can see the aim.
There's also another little mod in them but you can wait for that.

How have you dealt with the fog light, I was thinking of putting a CREE LED in the middle of the ring and rigging it for 24v somehow.

Would I just have to run another wire from the fog switch and use the brake/sidelight feed for the rings?

19-11-2019, 02:12 AM #277I'd want all 4 rings to be side light + brake light, then a set of stupidly bright CREE's in the middle of the boot for fogs. I've never actually used the fog lights, but it would be nice to have something more visible than a single ring of LED's in foggy conditions.

I was planning to replace side & brake lights with 12/24v LED rings and wire them up dual filament style, then have a lamp/super-bright LED in the middle of the fogs for use as an actual fog light.
That wouldn't be too hard to wire, would it?

You'd have to wire the lights on both sides in series for normal, then they switch to parallel when you press the brakes. Basically a 6v/12v system.
