Well my week and a half off has started so I've been in the garage working away.

It's not exactly the warmest weather to just be sat soldering but I need to do it to finish the interior.

Done everything but tidy up the alarm wiring now thankfully.

Also fitted my new toy that arrived today but not sure:

It's a Carbon fuel lid, it's genuine carbon, but it's layered on the standard lit so it sticks out a bit:

What do people think? Yey or ney?

That sticks out too much for my liking! can you not remove the metal skin on the std petrol cap to make it flusher?

No as thats got the bracket etc on it. It's seems a shame as its so nice to look at. But like you say sticks out.

My option is build out around it with filler so it looks flush.

can you not move it in a bit to bring it flush. drill out the bracket and move it all in 5 mm or so. otherwise i think it looks ok but not 100%

Can't you find a way to get the skin off take the hinge off and use some plastic weld kind of stuff and bond it on or even just make a new hinge and catch if you get what I mean

So your tuckin 15's, that's cute but come back to me when you get some proper size wheels
