I'm looking at getting some new (second hand) wheels for the Lex. They came off a 2004 Impreza so they have the right bolt pattern 5x114 (I think 0.3 off is close enough) but it's the centre bore I'm worried about. As the subaru centre bore is 56.1 and the IS200 is 60.1. From what I've read, the OZ wheels I'm looking at have a centre bore of 66.something. I emailed the guy and he said the wheels don't have reducers in them, so does that mean the car had the reducers, or do they just have a small centre bore? I'll email him again and get him so stick a ruler across the hole too.

They'll both be 5x114.3, some people just don't bother listing the .3mm

Unless they do magically have a Subaru specific centre bore (which seems unlikely), he probably just hasn't bothered fitting spiggot rings. You should!

I did wonder if that was the case with regard to the missing 0.3. I've just asked him to measure the back of the hole, as he measured the part the centre cap goes in when I asked earlier, and said it was about 55. But i would assume the hub mounting part is machined out bigger to allow spigot rings to be fitted. Which on a heavy car like the is200 I agree are a must!

My worry was that it would be an oem contracted version of the wheel as some manufacturers do, but they're not gold for one thing, so i hope that's not the case. Lol

Just had another message now he's measured the back of the hole, and it's 70mm ish. So you were right, he just wasn't using spigot rings. Smile

so with a centre bore of 60.7 and a stud pattern of 5 x 114.3, this forum may provide a buyer for my wedssports? something to bear in mind for when the time comes:wink:

Fry-Up thought Impreza was 5x100?

I think the bolt pattern changed during a certain year, I can't remember what it was now but I know that the model of Impreza they came off used a 5x114 PCD.
