Well after 2.5 days of wiring, extend some wires, shortening others, and then soldering it all in and heatshrinking neatly. The alarm is back in and I've finally put my dash back in!

Welder is back at the shop as well so will collect it tomorrow and finish off the engine bay. Then sanding and filling and the engine can go back in, the end is somewhere in sight!

Stav, is there any chance you could put up a bit more detail about how you fitted those speakers to your rear pillars please?

Just used some corsa speaker adapters, screwed them to the pillar, covered it in cloth, a cloth with a little stretch in it, stapled to the back to keep it tight. Making sure there's no creases,

Then used fibreglass epoxy mixed with hardener and painted the cloth to make it stiff, Once dry fibreglassed over the top of the cloth.

Trimmed it all off, cut out the hole for the speaker (you'll need to cut the back of the pillar as well for the magnet), and cover in your chosen trim cloth with spray adhesive.

You need to index this thread somehow, searching back for pictures is a ball ache.

Thanks, I'll have to see if I still have a spare set of pillars in the garage.
