Tried your battery trick on my old japnav ecu, see if I could reset it up as English, stripped it all down and unsoldered the battery, left it for an hour just to be sure. Plumbed it all in with a UK Lexus disk, and no joy, its still a toyota branded japnav
its not a major problem as I have purchased a UK nav ecu, just struggling with it reading the disk at the mo, need to polish out some scratches!!
Not a problem dude, I managed to find one on fleabay!!! and for only £30 too!!

29-12-2019, 04:11 AM #44Wow I guess the Jap's have it locked down. I know you can chang the position of the GPS. It is in the hidden menu. Just be careful playing.
