I love my HTC Touch Pro2. Has a nice touch interface. It's thicker than the iPhone but has a very good slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
Fry-Up i like the look of the N900 u previously mentioned and may go down that route, can you transfer files using bluetooth with the HTC Touch, as I know you can't with the Hero, bluetooth can be used to connect to devices, but thats about its limit apparently

file transfer is enabled with one of many apps..
and as for the iphone being novice?? i would love to hear that one explained...
I havent found anything that i cant do on my iphone yet and if you jailbreak it then there are even more unofficial apps.. and if you do come up with something it doesnt do,there are loads of third party developers that you can suggest these too?
There are two flaws in an iphone that i have found.. no online flash content and no native video out for the screen (it does this for video but not the screen) however both of these are in development with the later already availiable in the SDKit
what other phone can be used as an odb reader or a real time engine monitor like the hks camp2?
what other phone as a native sky+ record function for your box at home?
i dont understand why people dismiss it without trying one? i wasnt convinced myself until i spent some time with one and then i was hooked..
as for the 3gs.. it is faster and does work over 3g quicker but i find that most of the time there is free wifi availiable esp in major cities so not that major. 3 megapixel camera compared to 2. No noticeable diff in most situations except in print but its always good to have bigger! and finaly it does video.. it does have better batt life but if found a full charge is less than an hour. most of the other features are on the 3g now with the updates.
it all depends on iff you want to spend an extra £100 for the new features. the 3g 'should' be availiable on other networks in the near future..
I had my 2g iphone since it was released and have to say i have really enjoyed using this phone.
Lately i been thinking of up grading my phone but to be honest i think for the extra money it is not really worth it as I mainly use it only as a phone / emails and for the second hand value against a new phone it seems hardly worth folking out a few hundred pounds + more for a little more than what my current phone offers.
I may however change my mind when i visit Asia next year.
redz file transfer is enabled with one of many apps..

ive got the 3g,and have played with a 3gs.
although the 3gs is a bit quicker i dont think it warrants the extra cost, when if you jailbreak it you can have the same stuff
what exactly is jailbreak?
